Accessibility
It's our goal to make KindShare as accessible as possible to all of our users. We designed the service according to universal design principles and WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA web accessiblity standards.
We include considerations such as:
- Plain Language
- Text Size and Contrast
- Compatibility with Assistive and Adaptive Technology
- Simple and Logical Processes
To help ensure that the app is accessible for persons with low vision we conducted a scoping audit with the CNIB(Canadian National Institute for the Blind) Access Labs accessibility auditing service on some of the most frequently used pages of the site.
